Plan to arrive in Jackson, Wyoming, for an orientation meeting and dinner. Please meet in the hotel lobby at Gravity House in Teton Village, which will be home base for the workshop. We’ll go over safety information, camera gear, itinerary, and I'll answer any questions you may have. If time allows we will head out and begin the workshop by photographing some of the stunning landscapes that Jackson Hole has to offer.
Day 1 Meals: Dinner
We will kick off our adventure bright and early on the first morning, departing before dawn in search of wildlife to photograph. Once we've captured some breathtaking photos, we'll make our way into town for breakfast before heading out to some of my favorite spots in and around the park to photograph wildlife and landscapes.
We’ll return to the hotel in the evening for dinner, a recap of the day, and some essential Lightroom editing techniques.
Day 2 Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Once again, we’ll depart before daybreak, hoping to photograph wildlife along the Snake River as the sun dissipates the morning mist. If time permits, we’ll try to capture the early morning light at Oxbow Bend. Afterwards, we will head to the Jackson Lake Dam and/or other locations, where we hope to photograph playful river otters or search for bears and moose.
In the evening, we’ll return to grab dinner and then spend some time editing photos in Lightroom.
Day 3 Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
We’ll depart before daybreak and if weather permits we’ll stop at Schwabacher Landing to capture the sunrise painting the Teton Peaks pink. Afterwards our goal will be to photograph wildlife in and around the park.
We’ll again return in the evening then share and critique some of the photos we’ve taken during the week.
Day 4 Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Check out of the hotel, and head out for one last morning shoot before heading home. Take a moment to enjoy the sunrise as it casts a beautiful glow over the landscape, providing the perfect backdrop for memorable photographs. Capture the essence of your journey with some final shots, soaking in the atmosphere and creating lasting memories before you embark on your trip back home. This last adventure will surely be a delightful conclusion to your travels.
