About your trip

Private Wildlife Safaris & Adventures

Experience the Wild Side of the Tetons

Every day in Grand Teton National Park brings something new—a different light, a new herd moving through the valley, a fox crossing the snow, or a sunrise that takes your breath away. My private tours are built around these moments, designed to give you an authentic and flexible wildlife experience away from the crowds.

A Safari Tailored to You

No two safari tours are ever the same. Each private outing is customized around the season, current wildlife activity, and your personal interests—whether that’s seeking out moose and bears, exploring quiet backroads and scenic overlooks, or simply taking in the park’s beauty at your own pace.

Tours are private for up to three guests, giving you my full attention and flexibility throughout the day. No group schedules, no distractions—just your adventure, shaped around what you hope to see and experience.

For groups larger than three, call or text 985-856-1716 or email josephmarcphotography@gmail.com, and I’ll do my best to make it work.

For Wildlife Enthusiasts, Adventurers & Photographers

These tours are great for anyone who wants to explore the parks and experience the wildlife and scenery up close—but they can also be tailored for photographers looking for a knowledgeable guide or private instruction in wildlife and nature photography.

Whether you’re hoping to learn about the area’s ecosystems, discover hidden corners of the Tetons, or refine your camera skills in the field, I’ll shape the day around your interests and comfort level. You set the pace—I handle the rest.

What to Expect

While wildlife sightings can’t be guaranteed, experience and countless hours in the field help me know where to look and when. Each day’s plan is guided by current conditions and recent activity to give us the best chance at incredible encounters.

From moose, elk, and bison to bald eagles, bears, and mountain vistas, the Tetons never disappoint. Whether you come for the animals, the scenery, or the sense of adventure, you’ll leave with a deeper connection to this remarkable place.

Why the Tetons?

I first came to this area with a camera in 2020—and I’ve been hooked ever since. I've spent a lot of time exploring as much of the area as I can, and it still surprises and inspires me every time I’m out there.

The light, the wildlife, the atmosphere—it’s always changing. Sharing this incredible place with others is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do.

If you have any other questions about tours, booking, or trip planning, don’t hesitate to get in touch. Cell service can be limited while I’m out in the field, but I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.

Half-Day Option

Exploring the Tetons during the Golden Hours

The itinerary stays flexible—we’ll go where the wildlife leads us. Depending on your schedule, tours typically begin at sunrise or sunset, when animals are most active and the light is ideal for photography. These half-day trips usually last 4 to 5 hours, giving us ample time to explore and capture great moments.

I’ll reach out in advance by phone, text, or email to confirm your pickup time and location. We head out in all types of weather, as dramatic conditions often lead to the most compelling photos—unless, of course, safety becomes a concern.

Full Day Option

A Day in the Tetons or Yellowstone

The itinerary remains flexible—we’ll follow the wildlife or explore the backroads and adapt to the day’s conditions. Full-day tours typically begin at sunrise, when animals are most active and the light is at its best. From there, we’ll spend the day exploring some of the most scenic and wildlife-rich areas of Grand Teton or Yellowstone, making the most of the days opportunities as they arise.

These full-day adventures typically last 8 hours, allowing for a deeper, more immersive experience and plenty of time to capture both wildlife and landscapes in changing light and conditions. For Yellowstone tours, please note that it may take a few hours to travel from Jackson Hole to the park, so we plan accordingly to maximize your time in the field.

I’ll connect with you ahead of time via phone, text, or email to confirm your pickup time and location. We go out in all types of weather, as dramatic skies and shifting conditions often lead to the most striking images—unless safety becomes a concern, in which case we’ll adjust as needed.
